I know I have this written down some where but can't find it for the life of me. What is the % of your target heart rate that is best for fat burning. I know if you get too high you do more cardiovascular endurance training that fat burning. Too low and...well you just stay fat..lol.. I thought the ideal was like 70% or something like that? Anybody got that info? Thanks!

Around 70%-80% of your maximum heart rate.

You have to find maximum heart rate first by subtracting your age from 220. You target heart rate (beats per minute) for fat loss is 60-70% of that number and cardio is 80-90% of that number. I usually calculate it at 70% and 85%. Later

60-65% of your max heart rate is best for burnin fat. And you should also take your resting heart rate into consideration when creating this number.

i agree with this anything above is more for cardiovascular health not necessarily burning more fat.
