Just found out that all this stuff existed. Looks great. Spent a few hours looking through the posts and there's alot of interesting posts.

I've been working in the fitness industry for about a year now and have a sports science degree. If i.ve learnt one thing its that almost nothing is 100% correct, or the "best Way". Everyone i speak to has different opinions and views on training and i firmly believe that the most educated mind is an open one.

I hope that by using this board i can learn more, paticularly about the use of steroids. I done my first cycle back in september last year. 50mg of d-bol per day split in to 3 doses per day for 4 weeks. i was also advised to use milk thistle for the liver and zinc as a protection against gyno and other adverse affects. however, i havn't seen anyone round here talking about the benefits of zinc. What are your views. I am keen to start another cycle soon and am considering useing d-bol and deca. Would this be suitable and how much and how long for? However , at the moment I don't have a source and to be honest this is ONE of the reasons i am here. I've read the board guidelines and will stick to them. I hope I can make a valuable contribution.
 
yeah i now about nolvodex, but a guy who weighs 230lbs at 5 11 and hes never done it, just taken zinc to conteract d-bol. just wondered if anyone else had heard about its benefits. I also read about it in a book published by a company called ultimate nutrition.

zinc is of huge importants to anyone involved in any type of athletics.  Zinc plays a major role in your white blood cells' ability to carry oxygen.  If you don't get enough zinc, performance suffers.  It is also a player in keeping natural test production up.  It is a powerful antioxidant as well, which is probably why you heard to take it to protect your liver.  As far as gyno goes, I've never heard that one before.  I take zinc with magnesium before bed.  DOn't take zinc with calcium, as the calcium blocks the absorbtion by as much as 50%.
 
Zinc is important as BStrong said, but it does not stop gyno! I take it every night before bed. You need to have nolva and/or arimadex to fight gyno. And clomid for post cycle. Add test to your Deca, Dbol cycle, you will be much happier with the results. Welcometo MuscleChem! Later
