just wondering does the same rule apply when on gear? HIGH GI CARB such as GATORADE and protein Shake after a workout while on AS  or stick to a high complex carb/protein like brown rice and chicken breast......

also should creatine be use during a AS cycle? theres alot of mix ideas on this:(

Umm yes you should always get your High GI carbs after you workout even if your on AS. Not sure about the creatine thing but if your eating alot of red meat then I wouldnt add any extra.

Matters on your goals bro. If you are cutting, you should take in a few carbs, but not close to as much as you do if you are bulking. I take in simple carbs after training when I am bulking, and complex carbs when I am cutting. BBing is BBing. Not much changes whether you are on or off as far as diet, except the amount of food you are able to consume. What are your goals? Later

Goals is to putt MASS on ,while keep bf% and fat minimal like maybe 1-2% increase in fat......i know diet is #1 goal so i gotta keep it clean as possible

If UR bulking, keep it clean and keep it coming!  If you try to mix bulking and cutting strategy, you'll end up with limited results.  IMO, if UR bulking, go for it all the way.  I'm not saying don't think about gaining fat at all, but don't be overly concerned if you put some extra on.  Keeping those muscles fed is all that really counts on bulking cycles if you want to maximize the time, training and gear you are putting into it.

what are good choices of carbs to eat ?

-oatmeal
-wholewheatbread/bagel
-rye bread
-brown rice
-sweet potatoe
-regular potatoe

anything else? can i drink milk during a bulk cycle as well? any other carbs i missed?

Doofy, what is your current BF percentage??  When bulking, I will normlly permit myself a certin amount of initial fat gain, then, I can very easily maintain that bf percentage while enjoying optimum muscle gain.  By maintaining a predetermined percentage of bf as my weight increases, bf is actually also increasing but as muscle is increasing at my "locked in" ratio, bf percentage remains constant.  Follow?

Im going to have to disagree with Napalm on this one you should alwys get around 40-50 grams of High GI carbs after a workout even if your cutting. But it can differ from person to person everyones body is different in some way or another. But im positive that everyone spends their glycogen stores during an intense lifting session.

brazilnut, it really will depend on your goals as to what approach you take.  I think napalm is referring to a pre-contest cutting cycle, which I know he is on right now.  If you are in a position where the fat MUST GO, then keeping a lid on carbs and insulin spikes is pretty crucial to cutting fat fast.  Of course, I agree that you can still cut and take in Hi-glycemic carbs post-workout, because I've done it...but as you probably already know, blood sugar spikes=insulin spikes=glucagon suppression= a turning off of the receptors on fat cells that allow fat-->energy conversion for at least a few hours.    Having also done keto diets, and being in a pre-contest diet right now myself, I'd have to say both ways are right, it just depends on your goals and time to accomplish them.

well it depends whether you are taking insulin or not.  As some of you know from fitnessboard, i am taking it right now.  i have found i actually dropped a bit of bodyfat with it, even though my total carb intake for the day is around 500, 400 of it coming after workout and with breakfast.  i regulate my carbs after that.  if you on a super strict diet, you might wanna hold all carbs for most of the week, even after workout.

Sorry didnt know he was talking about pre-contest. But if your worried about insulin spike take about 500mg ALA with your post-workout drink and it should keep the spike to a minimal.
