Post Cycle Recovery

I’m confused about when to reduce the post cycle workout levels.  I’m just finishing 600mg test/wk and 400mg EQ/wk 8 week cycle.  I’ve been off for 3 weeks and recently started my Clomid therapy.  When should I plan to take time off?

Please advise.

Thanks – skwood

PS. I posted this on the fitness board but wanted some alternative points of view.  -  cheers

You do not want to take time off from lifting.  Post cycle is the most important time for diet, rest and training.  Work out hard and heavy as you did before your cycle.  Keep those gains.

well this is true, but i think you should take a week off when you start clomid.  your body is low on test and can more easily go into a catabolic state.  also, it depends when youve taken your last week off.  i hate it, but i know 1 every 6 months is a smart idea.

its difficult to come off, mentally and physically.  make sure to have a strong hold on your training and dieting.  i try to increase my intensity when off, in attempt to hold on to as much as possible.  also make sure to finish off cycle with a more anabolic substance rather than an androgenic.
