The week before my accident (and my accident was a direct result of this decission) I have decided to work on my basic three lifts and compete..I was working a bench power routine that involved speed benching when I lost the bar..Anyway this will not deter from my goal which to hit my first meet next year in the spring in the 200 lb class..I may have to go in the over 200 lb class it just depends how big I stay without training for mass,, Anyway wish me luck..Once I get movin I will post my progress and targets..should be interesting..when I was younger my first years of weights were power..I did very well but never competed except in the gym with other people there..So here we go again..I am sure i will do much better ..I am pretty certain That my body is better equiped for strength than appearance..
 
great attitude, you've chosen a direction, IMO you'll win if you play the game with that kind of mindset and focus.  Good luck bro!
