i had summer cycle planned, 400-500mg of Test, with 200-300mg of Deca, going over a period of 8-10wks.  But the more i read, the more i find that the older veterans are shying younger guys away from starting a cycle so early.....i am confused, and do not know if i should wait or not.

6'4"
230lbs
9-10%BF
been lifting for a solid 5 years

thanks in advance

IMO, 20 is right on the cusp, but I know plenty of guys that say 19+ is ok.  I think you need to decide for yourself.  What are your goals?  Do you want to compete?  What are your gains like now say every 6 months?  If it were me and I planned on competing seriously, I'd go for it.  If I wasn't going to compete, I'd wait until I hit a wall with training that diet and training changes couldn't rectify.  Another thing to think about is your lifestyle and those around you.  As you've probably read, doing AAS will impact those closest to you.  It's virtually impossible to hide it from anyone you live with, especially a wife or gf.  Parents are sometimes clueless, but WOMEN notice EVERYTHING!  Keep us posted on your thoughts and what you decide.

Some will say AS are bad hands down.  Others will say 20 is too young.  Some people say wait till you are 24.  I am not saying that I didn't start too young cuz I probably did, but I started at 19 and am presently only 21.  I'd hold out as long as you can before you start juicing bro.  You will have trouble getting gains when not on AS after you have had a cycle and you will likely get addicted if you really like it.  If I had to be addicted to any drug though it would be AS.

I am twenty, 6'3" and 225lbs...  10weeks ago before my cycle I was twenty 6'3" and 193lbs...  So, AAS definately worked like a charm!  I know several friends who used around the age of twenty and have all experienced good results.  All you need is discipline to hit the gym hard and follow a healthy lifestyle.  I will give you an example I have a buddy who did a Deca only cycle at 400mg/wk for 10 weeks and he had a drinking problem which made him get very fat!  So mature responsible twenty year olds do just fine on juice.

i will be living alone this summer doing a summer internship, therefore i will have lots of extra time on my hands to workout.  I plan not to compete ever.  I see my friends using it, not wisely, and they still have monster gains.  I have done my research, and think i will gain nicely from it, but if it will prohibit future growth off AAS is it worth it???

That is not nessarily true about future gains...  It all depends on your genetic composition and how far along you are currently with your physique.  I really don't think it will take away from much if you start when you're twenty.
