Tubbs is right, another thing to consider,if you don't pyramid T3 but use a constant dose like 50QD two things may happen that can hurt your fat loss goals. By not going up in dose each week, the body will adapt to the consistant 50mcg "supplemental" dose by down regulating it's own T3,and you'll quickly reach a "steady state" of essentially a normal blood T3 level. Second problem,by not tapering the dose downwards but stopping cold, you will temporarily become "low thyroid" and your metabolism will slow until your bodies TSH level rises enough to stimulate production of T3 again and acheive normal levels. Both of these effects would be more pronounced if you were planning a steady dose for longer than a month, but they represent the principle reasons for the pyramid style dosing,it makes the body constantly adjust and adapt to a changing levels of T3.... mimics a hyperthyroid condition initially, and then allows natural T3 to recover without risking the slow metabolism that hypothyroidism will induce.
