Does T-3 increase or decrease thyroid hormone in ones body?

It is liothyronine sodium, a synthetic form of L-T3, one of the two hormones your thyroid makes.  The other one is L-T4, or L-thyroxine, (aka Synthroid) which is what most people with missing or damaged thyroid glands have to take daily.  So, to answer your question, taking T3 increases thyroid hormone in your body.  There is a lot of other info on taking T3, how to cycle, what to cycle with, diet, etc... on this board.  Do a search and you'll find plenty of reading.

Thanks Bstrong. I did do a search and found a lot of great info on how to cycle and what not. Just wasn't sure which one it did to your thyriod hormone.
