View Full Version : painful injections?

I've been back on cycle for a few weeks now, and every injection has been a battle for me.

When I inject in the quad, as soon as the needle breaks the skin it burns (nerve?) and it's doing it every fuckin time.

In the glutes I can't seem to even penetrate the skin, so I was wondering if my pins could be part of the problem? The needle used to slide right through. The pins I am using now are from a cattle supply store.

Any thoughts?

I bought 100 pins from a cattle supply store about a year ago.  I used 3 or 4 of them and gave the rest away.  They are not as sharp as human grade syringes.  Later

I thought maybe my pins weren't as sharp, I guess I better trash these ones.

What about the sharp burning pain in my quads when I inject?

I have gotten a slight burn when I pushed the pin in slowly rather than giving it a jab when doing quads and calfs but nothing major. I soak the area in alcoahol so that could be part of it. Sounds to me like the pins themselves.

If you want to always insure you got a sharp one get one of the specials that include an extra heavy ga. for drawing. Then you can use a virgin sharp one for shooting. I can't get my tt-winny to suck in through a 22 ga so the 18's were a life saver. It pushes fine though a 23 though.
