good story...and yes bonds is probably on AS.....i dont think that i have ever seen the guy without sleeves on...he covers up well...and the thing with baseball is that there is so much money involved that there probably will never b drug testing 4 AS.sad but true.....if he is not hurting anyone else but mayb himself...then who cares.

McGwire realized that as andro sales soared in the months after he acknowledged using it. A year later, he said he stopped using it because he didn't want kids taking andro in his name.

I never even believed the andro story from the start,IMO it was just a smoke screen for the AAS that gave him those gains. Andro will not do the type of transformations that MCGwire's body achieved, but it is more politically correct to use a "supplement" than AAS.

The politicalization of the whole AAS issue is the problem,it's not about teens livers, olympic cheaters, roid ragers in wife beater attire or what ever other emotionally charged bullet you want to use to try and kill off AAS use. Enhancing your performance should not be equated with satanic ritual. For the educated and informed athlete it's just one tool that helps get the job done. If these people spent more time worrying about what they put into THEIR bodies(BigMac's,fries and pizzas usually) and less,or better yet,no time worrying about what I put into mine we'd all be better off.

Prez, why do you say when refering to baseballs lack of AAS drug testing "sad but true...." It's one of the few things MLB does right IMO

Baseball could test for AS...They choose not to. HR's sell tickets and the BigMac/Sosa slugfest in 98 and Bonds new record last year have helped pull baseball out of a slump since the '94 strike. They test in football, they can test in Baseball. Basebally is w/o a doubt the most AS used sport out there.

I just hate that football is the first major sport that comes to mind when people think of sports and AS. Fuck Baseball!!!

i dont like the idea that they dont test because of the young kids out there like "doofy" thinking that it is a magic pill and what my hero does is what i am gonna do...i dont like that aspect of it but to b honest with u i have never even once thought about AS and baseball...i guess i figured that they tested like every other sport. i have nothing against AS in anyway...but it is a huge span of people it is reaching to and we all know how people are in general and if it claims to b the quick and easy way...they will do it. that is all i am saying if that makes any sense whatsever.

I understand what your saying prez but it's a shame that we have to base regulations, whether they are baseball rules or federal laws,on the premise of "save doofy from himself"

Instead,a little AAS based Darwinism might do the country some good.

It takes eye hand coordination and muscle to hit a homerun.....blah blah blah!! When I was 12 ....I hit 17 HR's over a 250' fence in a season and I weighed about 120lbs. It doesn't take strength..its takes a good fast pitch and some one who knows how to "meet" the ball. I have honestly never hit a homerun when i was trying to "kill" the ball.
I don't really care what pro's in ANY sport use AAS just start fessing up...all the lying and covering it up makes juice seem worse than it really is!!!

I can't blame the baseball players for juicing. hell if I made tens of millions of dollars for a contract - I'd spend some that way too.

But I dont watch baseball, so what do I know.
