Hey Bros,

Since summer is here and I have 2 pools in my subdivision, I was wondering your thoughts on swimming laps as a source for cardio? I know its great for cardio in general but what about for bodybuilders is it a no no or good stuff? Will it have any effects on muscle growth as opposed to other forms of cardio?

Thanks,
ZZZOOM

personally ...i think swimming is much better for cardio....less strain on the joints from running and it is both an upper body and lower body workout...give it a try!!

swimming is great cardio. It really burns the calories...swimming recruits virtually every muscle in your body and the difference between body temp and water temp forces your body to expend even more calories on keeping body temp up.
