hey guys heres a odd question but i never saw explaineed before.
we all know muscle growth begins after the workout with the rest and food.
now when we are burning fat such as cardio, when does the real fat burning happen? during the excerzie it self or afterwards like muscle growth. and please excuse the typing mistakes lol

When things are working correctly, and your food intake throughout the day is correct, especially the hour before training. The fat is actually being burned while you are training and doing cardio, and continues to burn the rest of the day because your metabolism rises. The fat is being used for energy, so its not like muscle recovery. BUT, while cardio is great, and burns fat, it can also burn muscle. Your diet is what makes or breaks you. Whether you are bulking, or cutting, diet is 80% of BBing. Its not just important, its crucial. I know guys who have been training and using AAS for years and still do not look like BBers because their diet sucks! I know, in almost every post you read from me I mention diet. I mention it in 80% of my posts, because its 80% of BBing!!! LOL. Later

i am cutting now, doing about a hour cardio a day,
and now just eating mostly protein and some carbs
does that sound right, seems to be working for me, getting more cut. but i am afraid i might be losing some muscle so i am uping the protein.

Anytime you cut hard, even while using AAS, you will lose some muscle. This muscle loss can be kept to a minumum though. Plus the small amount of muscle you lose, will make you appear more striated. Here is my diet right now. I am 3 weeks out from a show though, so you should probably have a few more carbs. Everything is measured exactly.

Meal 1: 12 egg whites, 1/2 cup oats (dry), 1 tbs MCT oil
Meal 2: 8 oz. chicken, 1 cup veggies, 1 tbs MCT oil
Meal 3: 10 oz chicken, 1 cup veggies, 2 tbs. MCT oil
Meal 4: 8 oz. chicken, 1 1/2 cup veggies, 1 tbs MCT oil
Meal 5: 8 oz. chicken, small leaf salad w/ 2 tbs MCT oil and lemon
Meal 6: 8 oz. chicken, 1 cup veggies, 1 tbs MCT oil
Meal 7: 8 oz. chicken, 1 cup veggies, 1 tbs MCT oil

I use Gulden's mustard to choke down that much chicken though, LOL. I drink 2 or more gallons of water ED also. I try my hardest to get in 45 minutes of cardio in the AM on an empty stomach, and 45 minutes in the evening before bed. If you eat to much protien, it will be stored as fat also, so go with 1 1/2 grams of protien per Lb of LEAN MUSCLE MASS, and seperate it throughout your meals. When you are bulking, you can up the protien intake to 2 grams per Lb. Complex carbs are also important to maintaining muscle mass also. The only veggies I eat are broccoli, coliflower and green beans. I would suggest to you, unless you are cutting for a show, to eat sweat potatoes with 1 meal also. Good luck bro! Later
