Fina Conversion Step

Is the coffee filter step absolutely necessary? I skipped that step last night and went straight to the whatman filter after the pellets were fully disolved. It is not cloudy at all actually crystal clear. Just want to make sure I did it alright.

...you do not HAVE to use the coffe filter...i did not when i did mine and it was perfect......

Lucky?

Why would you say I was lucky that it turned out good? Is this a step that I should not skip in the future? Anyway I am ready to give fina a try, can't wait! This will be my first time spot injecting, will 23guage 1inchers work or are they too big?

...i dont know what Gear meant by lucky, but you do not have to use the filter...it might be "bettter" for filtering reasons but by no means do you HAVE to use it...you can go as little as 25's too esp if you are spotting...

I used the coffee filter when I did mine and man there was a lot of gunk in it. I would have plugged that syringe filter up pretty fast. Glad yours turned out good. Have fun with it!

I left all the gunk and shit at the bottom and didn't bother to filter that part, just tossed that portion. I may have wasted a trivial amount but this way it can be done in one night, much more convenient when you have a kid.

good to hear everything turned out good for you bro.. alot guys that skip that step have big problems with the dart filter.. but it didn't for you so that GOOD
