how often?

how often do u guys train each body part? once, twice, three times a wk? twice for me on some things, any more i feel as if im overtraining.
 
I change it as needed. Right now, I'm training everything twice...that's right TWICE! I do 2-a-day splits and take naps between workouts. Most of the year though I hit everything once per week, except whatever my weak point is, which I'll hit either twice per week or 3x in two weeks. Everybody is different though, so don't base your strategy on someone elses recommendations. You have to try different routines and find the "sweet spot" that works best. I believe that if you don't occasionnaly overtrain, you'll never know where that threshold is. Every now and then I push harder and harder until I hit that overtraining crash...then I take a week off and get back in it.

Damn BStong, do you have a job? Lucky bastard.

I do two a days also, but the morning setion is cardio and abs and the night setion is my lifting. I do every body part once per week.
 
I train each body part once a week...........but sometimes i do biceps and triceps twice a week :cool:
 
I do one a week. But holy crap whatever muscles I worked are sore now for 6days afterwards!

I need to be on again, this clean crap just sucks.

I don't start my new one until July, so right now I can train on pretty much an ideal schedule.
 
damm i wish i had that kind of time, working 6 days a 56hrs a wk suxxx! working out is the only thing that keeps me going, or else i would have no energy
 
everybody part twice a week. first session is more focused on pressing and compoud movements and the second session more on isolation.
 
same here, sometimes i will hit the bench then right after do burnouts on regular pushups, little muscle confusion.
