Alright guys, time to revamp this thread in the hopes of coming up with new ideas. As always, my biggest problem is eating enough calories to gain weight. Here's a few of mine to start:

1. Grill a bunch of chicken breasts at a time
2. Keep your girlfriend's freezer stocked with chicken breasts
3. Set a 2nd alarm for middle of night, grab premade protein shake on nightstand.
4. If all else fails, double-stacks at Wendy's are only 99 cents.

What else?

I try to eat alot of beef, especially when bulking. Steak & eggs for breakfast, steak salad for lunch, and steak & Salmon for dinner! Oh, and McD's fries just before bed, lol.

I can cut like there's no tomorrow - I rot at bulking - have that phobia of too much sh*t would equate to too much fat and if I start eating that sh*t again it would be a bad habit coming up again, been there done that and it was a s.o.b. to get out of it. Any ideas?

rule of thumb for bulking will be =

if you are FAT then why bulk

if u have a fast metabolism, then eat away

if u have mesomorphic traits and tendency to gain FAT = eat cleanly

(everyone should be honest with themselves as to whether they are fat or just bulked up (12-15% bf max)

I agree with BSBW, lean meats like poultry and fish are excellent sources for quality protein but they do happen to contain very low amounts of carbs. I try and stick more to the red meats when looking to bulk up. But lean proteion is better than no protein. A lot of pasta dishes, rice, oatmeal are great sources of carbs too. Just my 2 cents.

Hmmm.... thinking back I have always just tried to eat as much chicken as possible. After reading these comments, I think I'll concentrate on eating a lot more red meat.

ADDING THE ALL IMPORTANT FLAX SEED OIL IS A GOOD WAY OF BUMPING UP TOTAL CALORIES. FLAX IS LESS LIKELY TO TURN BE STORED AS FAT COMPARED TO OTHER FATS.USE IN PLACE OF OLIVE OIL ON SALAD DRESSINGS OR MIX WITH PROTEIN SHAKES.

I will second that.. Hey add second for me I am a small guy..lol
Hey the beef suggestion is a little out of hand , realisticly it is too expensive and chicken breasts with no bone or skin is not that cheap either..take MRP's and get enough sleep this will slow your metabolism and eat the protien and big meals before bed then your body will not starve while you are sleeping... and use the protien to build good quality muscle.,, just my stupid professsional 2 cents..lol
