Just thought I'd share my success with the bro's on the board. I won my deadlift meet this weekend with my opening weight of 700. No biggie but maybe someone is interested.

I weighed in @ 250 dry. There were only 2 weight classes...165 under & above. Obviously, everyone's total was adjusted according to their bodyweight.

I could have won with 635 but thought I would just stick with my opener.

My wife got a couple of me getting setup, but nothing at the top. She probably pressed the wrong button on the camera. There was a pro there and he always sends me proofs, so I'll have to wait a month or so and see what his look like.

Just out of curiousity. Are you allowed to use any equipment during these meets? Like straps or belts or just chalk?

This was not a "raw" meet so deadlift suits and belts were allowed. Straps are usually never allowed in any type of meet.
