Diets: bulk/cut

...i want to see how you guys keep your diets disciplined...mine blows right now and need some help...it has NEVER been real good anyway but my metabolism is wicked...just want to see how and what your diets look like for bulking and/or cutting...
 
No matter what I am on I will get puffy... I eat like this...

8am: 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats w/ Sugar free Maple Syrup & Cup of Skim Milk (or Eggwhite omlett w/ salsa) & TSP of HL Flaxseed Oil.
11am: 1 cup mixed nuts & can of tuna.
2pm: Grilled chicken salad.
5ish: Grilled Chicken Breast w/Bullseye.
8ish: After workout shake w/ skim milk & a slice of 2 of wheat bread.

That about what I eat everyday and my metabolism sucks so unless I do an ass load of cardio I look pretty bad on cycle, but off cycle I shred up nicely.

I am pretty bad with numbers... My average intake of Protein is 250ish carbs I try to keep around 150g, calories are in teh ball park of 2100/ed.

I need more dedication when it comes to measuring food and calories.

I know if I eat 3k in cals I get fat as hell. When I'm dieting, I go with 2200 to 2500 cals ed and 60mins cardio 2days on 1day off.

Yesterdays menu -

Morning - 3 scoops vanilla protein powder in 2 cups of crystal light.

Mid Morning (on the way to work) - 2 egg Mc Muffies (I'm so bad)

Lunch - Large tuna sandwich on wheat, no condiments or cheese.

Afternoon - 2scoops vanilla protein in 2cups crystal light.

After workout - Bottle of Isopure protein/carb drink crap (from World's)

Dinner - 2 cans tuna with some mashed up saltines in them, and fat free miracle whip. And a bunch of green grapes.

One gallon of water to wash it all away.

...does anyone have any good links or whatever to where you can see what foods contain what amounts of pro/fat/carbs???...somethhing for a reference, like a list to see how to get desired amounts beside looking at all my labels...lol...

Personally, I'm cutting :

1. .75 cup of oats / 60 gms of protein powder
2. 4 oz chicken breast (cooked weight) 3 oz of legumes, 2 cups of vegetables
3. same as 2
4. same as 2
5. Post workout shake, 33 gms hydrolyzed whey protein, 33 gms dextrose, 33 gms maltodexterin
6. same as 2

I vary the meat between chicken breast, salmon, top round steak. The legumes can be beans or lentils, any green veggie goes..... NO STARCHES!!!!!!!

It's right at 2400 cals, 250 gms protein, 250 gms carbs

chemist,,,,gotta say, I think maybe you're overstaTING that calorie count bro.... 8k is ALOT. You'd need to eat McDonalds supersize meals 8x a day to get that. I bulk at about 5,000cals and it really pushes me hard! (and I weigh 250lbs during bulking)

...BStrong,what would a 4-5000 cal/day diet look for you...you dont have to map it out,lol,but getting 8-900cals/meal over 6 meals seems hard as hell...is it still "somewhat" clean or whatever you want type thing...
 
getting real sick of the tuna. Bstrong whatdya do for the chix. You have some prepared every couple of days so you can take it with you for lunch? Or you find a good place to prep it for you lean?
 
sgrinavi is the main man with this stuff man great info. This place is full of great info and bros. Were else can you get info like this,as quick as this.
