Not from that area but I figured something was going to happen to that young man. I read something when Vick was at Virginia Tech that stated he wanted Vick to run around with him one night and Vick wouldn't. Said he wanted to stay away from that scene. Don't know how true it was but I would say that it was probably was.

Yeah, if that were anyone else they would be in the cell. It makes no sense to me but I guess we aren't suppose to understand everything.

...huge philly fan here and from the area and all i gots to say is.......................are you surprised?????.................he will get off clean as a fucking whistle and score 40 in the season opener and everyone will love him again...look at Ray Lewis...no one even mentions it anymore......

must be nice to choose when you want to surrender yourself
what he had a big weekend planned didnt want to be bothered
so he gets to surrender on tue anyone else would have gotten their doors kicked in and face planted into the deck

Im from Philly as well and thats been all the talk in the newspapers here. You have people outside of police headquaters yesterday with their free Iverson signs and tee-shirts saying free iverson as well. Not to mention the lemonade people saying they are selling to pay for Iversons defence.

The reason he was allowed to stay in his mansion was because he previoiusly made an arrangement with the DA stating that his attorney was away on business and would be back on Tuesday, and that his attorney would accompany him to turn himself in. I think he will get off, but may be suspended by the NBA a few games of the season.
