Should I Worry???

I have not had my blood checked for 4 years and I am starting to worry about my cholesterol levels and other factors that may effect my heart...

Does everyone here constantly monitor their blood levels and if so how profound are the affects that AS have on cholesterol levels???

I had a bunch of blood work done for free by a relative who works at the hospital, my liver enzymes came back high, my cholestorol was bad too, the good cholesterol was low and the bad kind was high. Im going to see in a few weeks if that will change any, since i came off that cycle 2 weeks ago. Definitely get blood work done during and after a cycle.

I had mine checked before and all was good. Bad thing is im 22 years old and the doc sure gave me a funny look when I asked to have my cholesterol and liver checked. Almost don't want to ask again he might think something is up.

username.. fuck that.. get a doctor.. who well.. "gives a damn" .. and doesn't ask questions.. ro someone you can communicate with bro...

fuck'n A .. i told my doc.. and i think he wrote it in my health records.... if he did.. i'm fucked... hopefuylly he didn't!!!

other then that though.. check your shit.. worst case scenario.. find a way... what's it cost to hit an emergency room to get it done w/o insurance? ... probably alot.. but still it's important.. and it's "fairly anononymous@" ... any input on this?

My cholesterol always comes back high after a cycle.... blood pressure too but so far liver values remain constant...

If you tell your doctor they can't tell anyone. It's called patient, doctor confidentiality. :D

But insurance companies can still see your health records.....They might throw a fit down the road if they see you have used AAS

Heath fairs and pharmacies will often have cholesterol screening at dirt cheap prices and you can fudge your ID if you wanted.
Pay cash at an urgent care center instead of giving insurance info, they can't access it that way unless you allow them.

Didn't think about that until you said it. I guess if you go see a doctor about a problem related to AS you should state that you don't want it put in your medical records then shouldn't you? Just curious about the subject. It just doesn't make any sense that there is a law on confidentiality and then insurance companies can get in and see what is suppose to be confidential. I guess that is their right since they will be giving you insurance though.

Tell them you need a physical to get life insurance a the doc's ofc. As far as the doc knowing, I told one doc at my doc's practice, but not my regular guy. I first asked if she had to write down everything I told her, and then I made her keep her word not to document anything.
