GH for Women?

Any opinions on 2IU's daily for a woman with no other AS? She does not want to turn into a man or risk taking AS. She needs to pack on 5-10lbs of muscle. Thanks.

If she metabolizes it really well, 2 IU's daily (5-on, 2-off) would work really well. Run that until you run out of money. She may need more, though.

If, after 2 weeks, she doesn't feel an increased appetite, more energy, etc., maybe up the dosage to 2.2 IU's. Run that for a couple weeks...if nothing, go to 2.5 IU's. Any signs of hyperthyroidism, remember that dose and don't exceed it. It would be wise to have an IGF-1 serum level panel taken mid-course to make sure she is still within "acceptable" medical parameters.

My wife has been running 3 IU/day ED for about a year. No problems, but she took her time to ramp up. BTW, she's in her early 40's.

However, gh won't put on muscle. It's for burning fat, controlling lipids, anti-aging, etc.

If she wants to put on muscle without illegal AS, try DHEA. It converts to testosterone in women. 25 mg/day.

GH, through IGF-1, will build muscle. It promotes a positive nitrogen balance in muscle cells leading to hypertrophy & hyperplasia. That is documented medical fact. What do you think builds and develops muscle tissue in infants?

She's in her late 30's, not a infant. IGF-1 won't "pack on 5-10lbs of muscle". For that, test is best.

My wife has been using 3 IU/day for about 2 years straight and I have been using it for 2 1/2 years straight, so I'm speaking from experience. It works nice in conjunction with anabolic substances, but by itself it is minimal for putting on muscle in adults.

There are numerous studies that looked at its ability to add lean body mass, strength, muscle, etc. and its not that effective at muscle. Especially not cost effective. However, there are other benefits that only hgh can provide; so we use it daily.
