Over the last few months alot has been posted regarding Winnie increasing cholesterol levels. Do you guys think one should be concerned with 50mg a day for 25 days? Or do these findings concern a longer usage time? Should a guy try to get his hands on some Lipitor for such a short term?

I think it was Realgains on Elite that made that post. I think that the effects on your cholesterol vary from individual to individual and increase with time. I though that he also mentioned within that post that the use of Nolvadex may actually help the hdl/ldl ratio when taking winny.

Here's an idea of how friggin BAD winny is on your cholesterol. This study used a dose of 6...that's right SIX mg's of winny/day for 14 days. HDL(good cholesterol) was reduced an average of 49%. LDL(the bad stuff) increased by an average of 124%. That's 6mg/day for a 2 week cycle............DAMN!

Here's the reference. I'm no longer a fan of Winny after reveiwing some recent lipid studies. I'll dig up some more when I get a chance.

Bad for cholesterol, BUT damn it rips you up.
I would have to give it a second thought to do again though since the cholesterol deal on it.
