I bought a new amp opener from GPZ. THis week I had the occasion to use it for the first time. I gotta tell you, I had less breakage with the triangle file and toilet paper method. Wassup with that.
Mine has the stone inside for scoring but I think I'm breaking it wrong.

Try a pen cap. (works everytime)

I think I'll go back to the tape and pen cap trick.
I'll have to try the melting technique later

I like a hacksaw blade for scoring them . Works decent.

scoring the amp is the key.use the scoring stone and pen cap.

use a triangular file they are cheap they like hardcharger said use a pen cap, score it all the way around about one or two times they break off very clean.
