I have heard conflicting opinions about whether Anavar is 17aa or not. Does anyone know for sure on the status. Is it liver toxic?

Thanks in advance

I have heard both also. I also heard it is 17aa, but less toxic than others for some reason. I would like to know also.

first I really dont understand the var bridge (which is basically your first cycle) , I mean come on you might as well do halo... var still "the bridge" on most of the boards (although I understand you want to do a stand alone cycle with it). my $.10 dbol should be "the bridge" but people still see something in using var. even on cycle, I think Decaman pointed out, you might as well do winny at 100-200mg ED cost and results would be better.

half life

var--- 9-10 hours
halo-- 9-10 hours

mg for mg halo kicks the shit out var in every way. they are both both 17aa... according to medline var mg for mg is more liver toxic than anadrol ( go do a search on UG long discussion couple of studies)... I am just missing the boat here why would any one F**k the cash on var...

in conclusion dont f*&k you cash on var. either do morning dbol at low dosages or go all out.

when life gives you lemons, put your foot up life's ass

Here's how suppresive var is to natural test

http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/full/84/8/2705

'Total serum T concentrations were within normal physiological range on day 0 (449 ± 35 ng/dL) and day 3 (441 ± 44 ng/dL) of OX treatment. However, by day 5, total serum T concentrations were significantly reduced (282 ± 45 ng/dL; P < 0.05) below day 0 and day 3 values (Fig. 3). Serum free T concentrations were within normal physiological range on days 0, 3, and 5. However, by day 5, serum free T concentrations were significantly reduced (98 ± 10 pg/mL; P < 0.001) below day 0 (121 ± 12 pg/mL) and day 3 (126 ± 9 pg/mL) values. Hence, the total androgen concentration (T + OX) was reduced in parallel to the reduction in T (Fig. 3).'

Interesting. And that was at a dosage of only 15mg/day.

1) anavar is more toxic than anadrol mg for mg
2) it is very expensive and much better results would come from other orals such as winny or halo
3) anavar does supress free test levels significantly.

4) hence, anavar is for women :)

I am not saying I know all this science language. I am just using commen sense. Doctors precribe anavar at 20mg ED to women and children regularly with low sides. Now I think what would happen if you gave a women anadrol for the same amount of time. I think there would be much more side in anadrol.

Liver toxcity only, not other side effects

I dont know if this says anything, but what caught my eye is it is used to treat hepatitis. Isn't that a liver problem. I am not sure.

I did a search on yahoo last night and read a bunch of diffrent studies. Most of them were done by giving it to people with AIDS. I guess it is a good drug for AIDS patience. I dont know what they all meant, but it seemed like everyone of them said it was very safe on the liver and in some cases used to treat liver conditions. A lot of them said it is 17aa, but for some reason is not processed near as much by the liver as other 17aa steroids.

You are correct, there are many conflicting studies out there.

There are. Is there anyway to ever tell which ones are correct.

Get your own blood work done and see how it effects you, I guess, LOL. I am going to start 40mg ed anavar alone as a bridge since I got it for six weeks. I have only been off gear for a few days so I'll wait acouple of weeks, get my liver values checked then get them checked again after the 6 weeks of anavar. I'll keep you posted.
