Anyone ever notice that after they withdraw their pin that sometime's oil leaks out of your muscle? I find this happens to me on delt injections and it pisses me off because it's wasted gear. I've tried injecting slower but doesn't seem to help.

what size of dart are you using...

...hey Gear, why you asking?...does a bigger size tend to do that?...:confused:...i get that sometimes too and mainly use 22's and 23's for quads...

i use alot of 25g one inch darts and then use 23g 1 1/2 in the gults and the gults will sometime do that.. got good at placing thumb over the hole right at the same time the needle coimgs out.. then message it.. or like the doctor does.. use a clean cotton ball but all that does is show you how much comes out.. whick really isn't much at all.. normally just a drop and some of that might be blood.. but what always makes me bad is the gear left inside the dart.. that you can see and it's alot more

that seems to happen more on areas that are leaner than others. for instance, if i go in the quad or delt, i will sometimes get more leakage than in the ass. as for the drip at the end of the syringe, i lick it off.

Try this. after injecting, leave it in for a few seconds before removing needle from the site.

I use 23 gauge 1 inch. I've even tried leaving the dart in for a few secs after. It tends to be less when I shoot glutes but I will try the thumb thing.

If it's a few frips then I see no reason to panic. I have that all the time. I think it's because your muscle is not relaxed enough and the pressure of it just pushes it out. Once it squirted out... the whole load.

If you always be sure to aspirate, you can do an "airlock", suck a little air into the syringe before you inject, and hold the pin downward so the bubble gets behind the oil. When you inject, the air pushes that little last 1/10 cc into you. It's really not painful to inject a little air bubble, but if you don't aspirate, you're fucking with the great beyond.

bungybung, you are correct. I just started doing that myself with the prop. Works everytime and by the way you really don't have to aspirate. The only thing that will happen is that you will cough for like 10 minutes and it feels like you dieing, lol.

A little lost is normal. It won't make much difference. Hey MacGyver found you another photo.

Here's the best way to prevent leakage IMO,pull the skin over about 1/2-1inch or so from the injection site,in other words choose trhe site on the muscle and the streatch the skin a little and hold it to the side, aim at the muscle and shoot, when you pull out release the skin and it returns to its original place and you seal off the gear in the muscle with no leakage. It's called a Ztechnique for injecting and is used for larger volume injections routinely to prevent pressure leakage.

hmmmmm, never heard of that I might just have to try that once.

Got this from anabolex:

I occasionally see a few posts about oil leaking out of an injection site. this issue isn't something to be all that concerned about, but i use a technique that I learned in nursing school for IM injections that I thought I'd pass on here. for those interested.

I believe it's called the "Z" method or something like that, maybe a doctor can verify or whatever, here's how you do it;

Let's take a quad injection site. Of course, prep the site. once you know where you're going to inject, kind of put your finger, hand or whatever on the skin and move the skin a few cm, 1/4 inch, get it taught. just move the skin, don't pull it up or anything, just move it. Then inject, pull the pin out, let go of the skin. The path the needle took into the muscle will then be segmented instead of still a straight line. Hope that makes sense.

Oops. Didn't read the new posts. I see that Deca posted the same exact technique. Oh well, it aint gonna kill you to read it twice.

Deca and gymrat, those techniques make a lot of sense. Although a little hard to do on the delts by yourself.
Big guns, did you go and put a sticker package on your car just for me? lol
