what's the deal? every time i drink a mass recovery after a workout i better be near a toilet within an hour or ill shit myself. are these drinks useless? i love to drink them to get a quick protein fix but i feel like they come out of my ass as quick as they go in. Am I alone here? Is there any absorption? I know solid food is better, but on a hectic schedule, i like to knock them down real quick.
 
You have to sip them slowly over about a half hour and it also helps to drink extra water. Otherwise you have a large osmotic load and you also overwhelm the surface area of the small intestine where absorbtion occurs....and the drink will squirt right back out.
