Yes I was taking in 200-250 grams of carbs and 5gm ala and was able to stay in ketosis, I was using keto strips from gnc so I'm not positive how accurate they are. Stopped after 10 days just felt to lethargic. It did seem to make the muscles fuller and was starting to peel some bodyfat off. I think superchicken ran the same experiment but for a longer time period. He may be able to give you more detailed answers.

Don't know about the Nutriteam ALA(natures purest). I believe I read somewhere superchicken said he used it.....and said it was ok.
About Ketosis....yes you should be able to eat some carbs and still achive ketosis with the use of ALA. If you are gonna eat 200-300 grams you would have to use between 2500-3500 mg/ day roughly. But the nutritent partitioning/glucose shuttleing effects of ALA will keep you in ketosis.

Now if you want to figure out the optimum dosage for ketosis...then you should buy some ketostix. These measure the amount of ketones in your urine...and tell you how deep into ketosis you are. You may have to limit your carb intake to 100-200 to really get the effects you want....or up your ALA intake.
It takes a bit of experimenting and tweaking on your part to find the amounts that work for you.....because it seems to vary slightly from person to person. You can get ketostix at any pharmacy.

Also...don't forget to take your ALA BEFORE meals and that should keep the heartburn away.
