? on the PowerBlock dumbells

Hey Bro's anyone here ever use the Power Block dumbells or heard anything (good or bad) about them. A guy at work is looking at buying a set and asked me what I thought. I've never used them so I really don't have much imput.

Any and all opinions are welcome.

They suck

I was gonna buy a set and then used some that my friend has. They aren't very user friendly to do like drop sets or anything where you do 1 set right after another with diferent weight. Not to mention you don't want to drop them..they aren't constructed like a real dumbell. just tell your friend to go buy real dumbells..he will be happier in the long run..not to mention dumbells are easy to resell..........456

I have a set that I have had for a few years. Personally, I love them. They take a little getting used to. My set goes up to 90 lbs. each. They take up very little space. I would highly recommend them to someone building a home gym. I have this, a Smith Machine, recumbent bike, ez curl bar. All I need.

I really love em, got a small place. they work great. takes a while to learn how to use em right, but once you do--they rule!
