This might sound silly, but in what kind of store do I buy an amp opener? Has any of you got favourites? What's a decent price?

bro, just wrap some cotton gauze around it or tp, while it is doused in alcohol, to absorb the slivers. hold in one hand and snap with your thumb, sorta like doing a thumbs up to someone, the tp should distribute the force and soon you will have no fear of snapping amps open.

i use a pencap and snap off...

no need to have an amp opener lying around...

pen cap its cheaper and very effective than shaved glass in your juice not to mention the record keeping of the sales company that leads back to you?

i dont think the record keeping of the company is anything to worry about. if it comes to record keeping, i would worry more about the shit we post here than any nickel and dime plastic crap we can order from getpinz. that can always be accounted to some bs scheme. but the reality is that the amp openner from GPZ is crap, the pen cap is actually much more clean and reliable. a couple of times when i was really torqued up, i openned them with just finger pressure in the right places, it was easier than thepen cap and the stupid amp openner. I would say that my $8 ampopenner is the the most worthless piece of aquisition since i got into this game

I just use my fingers...NEVER been cut or had a problem.
