Definition of Scar Tissue

Can someone please explain what this is. I know it is caused by frequent injections in a certain area among other things but what exactly is it? I don't think I have ever had it.

have you ever cut yourself? If so, look at the place where you had the cut, and in its place will be a "scar." Scar tissue is the stuff that "scars" are made of.

Ok let me explain myslef some more. I thought it was like a bruise from injecting som much on the muscle??? I gues what it is, is a scar on the suface of the skin from the pin?

You'll know when you push a pin through scar tissue it's kinda crunchy and goes in very hard. It's under then skin from my understanding. I don't know I use 25g's and haven't hit any yet just heard enough about it.

You will know it when you hit it.. if you stick yourself in the same spot all the time, it will become very tuff. Change your poking (snicker) spots.

ok...cool. That's what prompted me to ask this question becuase my right delt is hard as a rock when trying to inject but the left one isn't.

It's a form of fiberous connective tissue. Not muscle though, kinda like gristle for lack of a better term.

Scar tissue is a type of defense mechanism the body utilizes. Scar tissue is actually stronger than the tissue it replaces. When you break a bone you'll never break that bone in the same place because that new tissue is very strong.

So what causes it in the muscle? I don't know. Is it the pin piercing and separating the fibers or is it the oil sitting in there for a week or more. If it were the oil, wouldn't we all be using suspension? I don't know, I'm asking, as I just thought of this a second ago.

As for how the needle feels, sometimes you can feel it hit something tough before poking through it. It's kinda gross and kinda cool all at the same time. Just make sure you always use a fresh needle. Sharper is better. Use a needle 4 or 5 times if you want to see what I mean. Oh, and make sure you use the same one to draw the oil out through the rubber stopper. That rubber will dull the needle lickety-split.

The popping noise is more than likely the needle passing through your fascia layers.

I know. I'm searching for some really grose fat chicks pick that will make him have trauma for the rest of his life.

First of all, mbkiller, your avatar is the most offensive gag inducing thing ive ever seen. I love it. I wish I could blow it up so that i could see the folds of skin more clearly (to see if they house any cheese)
Second, scar tissue, specifically that which is formed in between the muscle layers in areas that repeatedly injected is thickening of connective tissue that holds our muscles together. If you cut your skin real bad the skin that heals there will not be of the same consistency, it will be less organised but much thicker in density due to the different type and orientation of collagen fibers that come after the healing process. Same thing happens in the muscle tissues that we inject. the injection itself cuts and serrates muscle tissue and surrounding connective tissue. Im not sure if the chemicals that go in have any influence of creation of scar tissue, but I 'm sure if they are caustic enough they will. Regardless, the muscle tissue reforms/heals pretty normally unless its a big boo boo , which injections arent, but the connective tissue always heals a little funny, meaning with repeated insults, it will heal much thicker and denser than before. some people are of course more prone to scar tissue thatn others, ie keloids in african americans. some people also have problems with collagen synthesis which greatly hampers their healing from wounds and bone fractures.
