Sauna's

What's so good about them?

Where I work out everybody and I mean everybody hits the sauna after their session.

Everybody is always telling me how good it is, but than when you ask 'm why, not a single person can answer.

Point is...I don't like sauna's. There too f*ckin' hot and I sweat more than enough without them already.

So is there any proven and profound reason why I should sit in them? Are there any real benefits to them? Besides off course when you are getting ready for a show and wanna loose water, which I don't.

Do any of you use it for a good reason, other than the fact that you just like it (which seems to be the main reason people sit in them IMO).

I sit it them bro for some fat loss and relaxation. I hit the cardio and then the sauna usually the dry sauna and I watch my self sweat to death. I was down to 10% bf by adding that too. It makes you feel great when you go home to go to bed and you sleep like a rock. If you can do that then jump in a pool afterwards.. you'll love it!

if you wanna look dry and cut for the beach, try the sauna before you go.

works fukin great for me.

that and i feel good after, kinda like a massage.

the sauna is great except for that all the gaylords at my gym hang out in there. As soon as i go to walk in it looks like they just stole a cookie from the cookie jar and I look like a big fat Mrs Fields chocolate chip deluxe

i've heard it cleans out your pores and if your a smoker it helps get some of that shit out of your lungs

I just read that its good for your blood pressure also and it help your pores and it helps with water retention and a bunch of other things. look up "sauna benefits" on a search keywords it will tell you.

i like steam rooms better. i get really tired after working out then hoping in the steam room. try a steam room. its better

I'm with you on the heat....I sweat like a fucking retard in an algebra exam as it is...I don't need any more stimulation to sweat!

Saunas are very healthy. Along with other positive things they raise your metabolism, relax overworked muscles, speed muscle recovery, clean toxins out of your system...including heavy metals, clean the pores in your skin, and might even slow the onset of wrinkles as you get older. Later

I used to use them after every work out. If you have some friends in there at the same time blow on there skin. Not that kind of blowing, lol. But if you blow on the skin it burns. Also the water that is hanging above you can be released onto your friend by taking your hand across the ceiling. The water burns, lol. We like to have a little bit of fun. When we walk up in the room everybody starts to leave. It might be because we take a cold damp cloth and put it over the therostat so the steam just keeps on coming.

Ask any Fin. They're addicted!

Saunas are for cleansing the body. They are good all the time, but particularly excellent during a cycle.

Think about DHT. It is deactivated in your skin--one of the largest, most abused organs in your body. You get acne due to roids. You get skin discoloration. Your skin is like your bowels. It is an eliminatory organ, meaning poisons and wastes leave your system through you skin. Some even get yellowing of the skin due to jaundice. Toxins also go out of your lungs--this is why a steam room is benificial--but that is another topic.

Daily saunas help immeasurably during a cycle. They force the sebaceous glands of your skin to secrete built up oils, comodogenic dirt, and toxins.

Then most important think about a sauna is to sweat.

Here in BC we have a style of yoga that I personally practice called hot yoga. We do extremely athletic power, breathing and stretching movements in a hot environment--almost sauna temp!

This cleanses the system and makes you feel great. Plus the stretching of tendons, ligmants and fascia helps overal athleticism and physique development.

Try doing some mild stretching in a sauna, then just LAY DOWN and relax. Don't sit. Laying down relaxes you and gives your body more exposed surface area. It enables you to breathe deep and relax.

After your workout, grab a quick shake for recovery and hit the sauna, for at least 20 mins. Try to work your way up to 35-40.

Lastly, the heat helps pull fluids into your tired muscle tissues. If you have a shake first--it will help to force the nutrients into your muscles.

Does that help and make sense?

no way tried that, almost passed out. not to mention that women have a hard time staying lubricated its that heat and warm water..If there is anyone from my gym reading this i am only guessing..lmao

I tried having sex with myself in a sauna once - but after I was arrested, I realized it was a public restroom in Orlando in August.
