My cycle starts Monday and it has been hell waiting Ill tell you. But does anyone else arms fall asleep all the time. Everytime Im on a cycle it hurts like hell, not just tingling but really numb and sharp ass pains from my shoulder to my fingers!

Stacker, drop me a line about this. I'm a physical therapist and I use to work in a hand therapy clinic; I may be able to steer you in the right direction. ;)

whenever I work arms on cycle my fingers get numb, usually at night. Most times from my elbow down. Sometimes just the middle, ring, and little finger get numb. I don't know why

Actually, it is from pressure being put on the Ulnar nerve at the nerve root, it is commonly refered to as Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. Basically what is going on is that the increased mass in your chest muscles is protracting you shoulders which is putting pressure on the ulnar nerve diminishing conduction. You probably get the numbness and tingling when your elbow is flexed, which is the position that puts the Ulnar nerve at it's max stretch. The reason your experiencing the numbness in the digits you described is because the Ulnar nerve supplies the cutaneous sensation to those respective digits; the median nerve supplies the other digits.

The best way to help allieviate these problems are to work on increasing your back strength. Increasing back strength will help retract the shoulders and open the thoracic outlet. Hope tis helps.

Thanks Kiss, that explains a few things and what Im experiencing also, my problem is a night when I sleep and are awaken with totally num arms, when I try to move I cant, cause I cant use my arms, It scared the crap out of me at first, thanks for the insight!

Thanks kiss, presser. That does explain a lot and presser trust me I know your always trying to help, and it is the same thing your talkin about. Kiss it probably doesnt help with the work i do either. Im a finance director at a car dealership so im always slumped over the keyboard typing, ok ok okok or reading this board!LOL I had a massage therapist tell me about your chest muscles getting tight like that and she said stretch alot and work on my back so your right on the money.
Thanks guys!

my arms and hands did the same thing. heavy cycle with slin and hgh. they hurt real bad i would wake up in pain. my doc said it was from the muscle pumps and extra fluids. water and blood. all went back to normal a few weeks after cycle

I walked away once, but I just can't pass it up... :p

My arm falls asleep cuz I'll lay on it for like an hour. When I get up it's like a piece of meat. Numb. Bang it against the wall.. Nothing. Then I'll start whackin' off. It's like a strange chick. It's fun for everybody involved.

Oh, and I'll tell you what... If you're really smart, you'll lay on the other arm too and have her twin sister work your ball sack.

God love the diceman...

Not to make light of anyone... Just couldn't pass it up

Hey Stacker, Kiss is right on above. It's definately a nerve thing anytime your experiencing sharp pains like that. As a chiro, I see it quite often. Only thing I could add, since your sitting at the desk all day, it could be coming from the nerves in your neck, C4-C7 most likely, because you may have a head forward posture that results in a nerve irritation that presents all the way down the arm. Head forward posture is very common, especially in your type of work.
