That sucks. There's a show on Fox Sports (You've Gotta See This) that showed a clip of some guy going for a 600 some odd squat. He gets the bar on his back but steps forward to balance and his knee just goes out. Even the spotters werent ready. Luckily when his knee gave he arched his back and the weight fell behind him, although supposedly he still got hit in the head somehow. On a happy note, he was back at the same comp the next year and I think he surpassed his attempt from the previous year.

Still scary stuff!

Holy shit that looks painful. Those two spotters he had were obviously not doing their job. What the hell kind of spot is that.

thats just almost happen to me, this morning,I was using the smtih machine rihgt, doing 350 squat, was my third rep I went down when i was getting up fuck i heard a noise, the bar came a part.
so i was down whit all that wheight and it was in the morning so the is no many people there i had to wait like five minutes for some bodie to help me get out of there.
i am ok

I think even when someone has a spotter(s), there are going to be times when the shit just falls, and only God is going to be able to save your ass.
