What are your leg measurements, O2?

Measurements are fine, but I like what the mirror tells me. As long as you look proportional I wouldnt worry about size (unless of course that's all that matters to you). I would say 24-27" isnt too shabby.

I just taped mine at 26, my calf's were 18.

What's a good measurement for calf's?

24 1/2 but at 6.2 it is hard as hell to get them to grow

I think the point about symetry is valid. It really depends on your body. I have 26+ thighs and they look undersized to me.

The hardest part after an ACL (for me) was getting my quads to match. My right leg was always smaller. Also, it took a YEAR before I could work it hard without pain. No wait, i still have pain. nevermind :-)
How long ago was the surgery?

Where do you measure. Up high or down low above the knee.

Holly Shit!

After being stuck at 25 for the last year+, mine are finally up to 25.5" (26" if I flex my quads). Are you supposed to measure flexed, or loose?

Mine seem to be 2 feet and 0.02 inches. I don't know how many inches go in a foot. I measured them at 61 cm.

Calves are 45 cm.

2.54 inches = 1cm, I believe.
12 inches per foot (this I know) :D
So your legs are 24 inches, and your calves are 17 3/4"!

I'm 5'11 and around 215....

I've got 24" quads and 16.5" calves. They're very small, so i'm guessing you'd want ones bigger than mine.

You need to be more specific about where you are measuring your quads. 27 inches around the center of the thigh(or lower) isn't too bad. Around the top, it's hard to say. If the top of your thigh is 27 but your mid-lower thigh is closer to 23 then they probably need some work(like mine). It's tough to build a big balanced thigh if you're over 6 ft(I am too..... I'm not sure exactly how tall I am but when I met Arnold, we were the exact same height). Squats usually don't work as well for us taller guys.... We end up with turnip thighs. I think we need a little bit higher reps with as much weight as we can handle(up to 25 reps). Lower reps just end up working the butt hard and wiping out our knees. I've been killing myself for years trying to balance my quads(My upper thigh was around 29 inches but there was nothing above my knees.... my quads looked like shit). One trick I've leared that gives the illusion of good wheels is to really emphasize the calves. If a guy has great calves, his quads can be very lackluster and people will still think he has good thighs. Hit your calves every workout and make them as round, hard, and vascular as possible. Once your calves really stand out, everyone will think you have great legs...... even if your quads aren't the greatest.

What do you think of 24" on a 5'6" frame I always think my legs look lil I want 30 but 30 on 5'6" would be huge and my calves are 15" what you guys think a lil more on legs woud be better?

Better start doing some major squats. 5'11", 26"q & 18" calves

someone asked about what size calves should be or rather what is a good size........the neck, arm and calf should be very close in size.....that is a good indicator of a balanced body.

I'm 6'3" 287

calves are 17"
Arms are 17"
Neck is 18" -still losing fat and hope to get this down to 17 :)

this is all just a guage though. Obviously presser is a freak LOL..........last time I checked I think my quads were 28. but I can't remember for sure.

I'll have to check my notes at home. I'm looking at them right now and I think they're small compared to my upper body. I can't do squats because of my knees. just started doing leg presses again and my chest is 52" right now.

damn it where the hell are my measurements!

Wife threw away my pre-cycle measurements damnit! But I know I've put an inch on my quads in the past month...working them hard as hell. They're now 24 1/2" and growing! 24, 6'2", 208lbs., 10% BF.

Presser-that is amazing, I was just reading Muscular Development's article about Art Atwood's legs, I think you are like the same size as him. You must compete?

I've always been told I've got some big thighs for being as tall as I am. I'm 6'3" and my thighs are naturally 28-29" even when I'm not squating. I'd guestimate my bf at around 13% (I carry all my fat in the midsection and have no fat at all below my waist).
