First off all the pain below my chest is almost gone. but now i have 2 root canals that need to be done soon. my teeth hurt so much that i was going insane. my doc prescribed me some vicidin i will pick it up tommorrow so hopefully that help. GUYS the pain is so fucking bad that i cannot even explain. u

bro you where just born under a black cloud j/k. The vicotin will help good shit if it's the strong stuff. Wait till you see the bill for a root canal.

i do take care of my teeth but the doc says that it is not my fault he says my filling was leaking for months b4 it was diagnosed that i had an infection.

screw it have them all pulled out(wisdom teeth +root canal ones). There's no gaurantees on a root canal

Replacing the damn tooth is much more expensive and costly. Root canals suck, but itll be over and you go on. Getting a bridge or an implant,,,, good luck. Might as well sign over the next ten money orders for your cycles bro.

kossdeh the dentist told me 1500 for a root canal on a back tooth. something like 75 to pull it because it was just one and in the back I just left it empty. But shit I live in the country most of the people around here are missing teeth and fingers too.

endo (root canal) on a front tooth will run you 400-800 by a reputable dentist. a molar, due to its difficult access and multiple roots and therefore canal will run you 800-1200 at the most. 1500 is way too much for a single molar endo unless you meant that was the total bill for multiple teeth. What sucks is that you will need a crown after the endo which will run you up to 1k more!

Yes, an extraction, even a difficult one, under light sedation will run you up to 500 for an impacted third molar (wisdom tooth) to as little as 75 by uncle willy at the general store. The only problem is that you will need a replacement for that tooth. YOu could go toothless, but if you re willing to spend cash to make sure your biceps stay larger than 15" year round, you really should spend some dough so that you dont look like my toothless granny. Replacement cost vary depending on what you do:
a flipper or removable denture for one to about 3 teeth: @500-1k
a bridge- fake tooth glued onto adjacent healthy teeth: 800-3k
an implant- titanium screw with fake tooth attached: 1k for the implant and 800-1200 for the tooth.

Yes it sucks, its expensive, and any of the above choices may fail. But youre young. Let it go and you'll have to deal with the prob at some date when your body will be less able to recover with more moderate treatment.
Just my 2cents

I can agree with where your comming from kossdeh. Madchemist is probaly still undr his parent insurance so he won't have to worry about the high costs. Unfortunaly when I had my tooth pulled I had no insurance and wasn't gonna pay 1500 for the root canal and then like 800 for a crown when it was my last molar that was affected. Every circumstance if different guess you just have to weigh the options. If it would have been any other tooth exspecially a front one I'd be on the payment plan first.

thanx a lot guys for the great conversation i learned a lot and u are correct i have insurance. so i dont really care about the cost for now bcuz i am not independent. thanx a lot for the help guys i think i am going for the root canal and get a crown.

MAN i HATE THIS SHIT

thanx a lot all u guys. u guys are always here for me when ever i am in trouble. i think i am almost out of the black cloud. i just need to get the root canal then i will be able to go back to normal and workout.

Get that root canal done as soon as possible. You'll be relieved when it's all over with. Last year I had tonsillitis for 6 months straight so I know how bad something like that can screw up your training. I finally got a tonsillectomy about 9 months ago and am back on track.
