Anyone ever get MAJOR!!!!Charlie horses in quads while working upper body??

:D OK,it went like this.Military press 10 sets of 10.Moved to dumbells.Bent over flys for rear delts.went from 25lbs to last set with 60lbs. then got a barbell ready for shoulder shrugs.I picked it up I thought in good form,and instantly my quads locked up like cement.I dropped the barbell and fell straight over in excruciating pain for about 15 minutes I could not even think about bending one of my legs.Then it was a slow process of bending then trying to stretch a little,and walk it off.I stretch my legs for 10-20 min b4 EVERY workout.Is that not enough??:confused:
 
Before I started adding a banana to every protein drink, I had cramps in my legs all the time... Nothing is worse than being in the middle of sex and having to jump up out of bed to "walk it off" ...That sucked!
 
something else i foundthat works is drink half a liter of tonic water i useally do this b4 bed.i would wake up sometimes at 3am with bad cramps.it got so bad i called my doc at 3am andhe advised i drink tonic water never had a charlie horse since. works best without the gin.but doesnt taste all that great.let me know how it works out for you.

hadthe same prob on my last cycle the winny makes me cramp all damn day. the trick is as much potassium and water as possible, potassium from banannas is much better then using a supplement, also theres alot being said about over stretching before a work out, stretching may not be as good for you as you think!
 
thanks guys,thought I was getting enough potassium,but will give everything a try here.Don't want to go thru that again.
And DAMN!!basskiller,she is BAD TO THE BONE!!Any chance you can get her to do the same pose from the other side or any??rear shots?
