lol, would the local walgreens carry it..ill tell them its for grandma and im on vacation......do most pharmacy carry this......any one, if they do.....ill certainly find a way

I think it depends on state laws. You could call the pharm and say you were coming into town from FL and will be staying for a couple months and need to find out if you need a script for it. I am almost positive I remember reading that it is legal in FL, that is why I suggested it.

Find a friend that has a script and tell them to get you some. Then they can tell there doc they dropped theres and need extra. Then there insurance will cover it. Lot of people need it.

Humalog is good for up to a month at room temp. I ordered from Canada (from a source) and live in Los Angeles. It arrived in about a week and because it was during the summer and we were having a heat wave I was concerned that it went bad. I gave myself a 8 iu injection and sat there with a 120 gram carb (dextrose) drink. After about a half an hour I started to feel myself go hypoglycemic. (I know what that's like because I was given a test a couple of years back where they inject insulin intraveniously to measure insulin resistance and GH release. I had two nurses and a doctor with me at all times). As soon as I started sweating like a madman I downed the carb drink in one dead-pan toss. Then I popped a few of those dextrose tab for diabetics under my tongue and within minutes I was back to normal.

Humalog more than survived the one week trip from Canada to Cali during a heat wave without being packed with an ice pack.
