FDA attempts to "medicalize" supplements via UN

What the FDA has been unable to do via US lawmakers, they are seeking to do through a multi-country agreement via the UN.

The "goal" is to make uniform warning labels for herbal and sport supplements recommending prescription by dieticians, doctors, etc. It's the first step toward more stringent control that the FDA was unable to get via Congress.

The public comment period is still open. For more info and a sample protest letter to the FDA,

Well it looks to me like these LEF guys are just whining because the FDA wants to put a hitch into their perfect BS salespitch on the label.

I mean, is it really gonna make a difference, to us, if a label says "supplement should be taken on an advice of a nutritionist, a dietician, or a medical doctor" ? i didn't think so.

On the other hand. I could take those dickheads at the FDA more serious if they would, for instance, "medicalize" cigarettes. (don't get me started $#*&(#^#$ )
