Effects of T3 on a bulking cycle?

I'm soon off to start my fall bulking cycle. I have some T3 lying around and was wondering if I could use it to increase protein synthesis and maybe even keep fat at bay while growing muscle.
 
how much should I use and for how long? I was just thinking of doing it for 3 weeks, one week at 25, the second at 50 and the 3rd at 25 again. I believe Napalm said this was a good way to go.
 
Yeah that's not too bad at all! Some say take up to 150mcg but I had good results taking up to 50Mcg ED! Just remember to take in alot of potassium while on it....or else you'll get cramps.

Who ever said that is a moron. You should never exceed 100mcg/day due to the fact that you can permamently shut down you thyroid and will be medication for the rest of your life.

I will be doing T3 along with my bulking cycle starting Oct. 1. I will be taking 30mg/ed of the T3 throughout the whole 12 week cycle.
 
twelve whole weeks? geez won't you seriously crash when you come off and regain fat very quick?

Wouldn't it be better if you could have your T3 restored to normal before the cycle ends?
 
I only have 21 50mg tabs left and I am not gonna order more. At 25 a day that would be 42 days. Would you take 'm at the beginning, middle or end?
 
depends on what esters you are taking. Since you said that this is bulking cycle, I am presuming long acting esters are being used. Therefore, I would use it at the end of the cycle. The reason is that you want to utilize the proteing absorption property of the T3. In the beginning of the cycle, the long acting esters would not be active yet and therefore the protein absorption would not yield as much gains as lets say at the end where the esters are now active.
 
I'd taper it...start with 12.5mcg ED for a few days then up to 25mcg and so on till 50mcgs...then taper the same way back down. Possibly running it that way you might be able to go almost all the way through your cycle!
And yes gymrat...those people I've heard say that are stupid....I will never go over 75mcg ED..! That's more than enough

I'm not advocating taking high doseages but the above statement has YET to be proven! Just food for thought gentlemen..how many people does anyone REALLY know that has shut down there Thyroid with T-3 permenantly? Probably NONE.....just the facts ma'am..........;) 456
 
I've also heard of poeple doing lower doasages throughout a bulking cycle. Around the 25mcg range. I am too going to try it my next cycle.
 
Let me ask you this... how do you know the T3 is working? Is it necessary to feel a rise in body temp for your metabolism to be properly boosted? I have been taking T3 at 50mg/day and feel nothing. I haven't noticed any other differences either. :confused:

BTW.. Nice board. I guess I will visit more often now that bolex is down again.

I've gone to 200 mcg/day and my t3 levels checked out fine post cycle.
 
I would never reccomend doing over 125 mcg/day of T3. I lost 11 lbs in 10 days at that dose, and a lot of it was muscle.

It was crazy, but the human body is a very resiliant creation.
