I was in the gym today doing straight leg deads for my hamstrings. I was on my last set at the heaviest weight (405) and when I completed my set I had a sharp pain in my lower rib cage. It starts under my lower right pec and continues across my sternum to the left side. It confined to the lower portion only. It kinda felt like I took a football helmet to the chest and got the wind knocked out o me. Most of the sharp pain is gone now but if I breath deep, cough or laugh it hurts. What the hell could I have strained in my rib cage???
