Anybody see the pics of him in the new flex. It is is amazing how fast muscle disappears when not worked. His legs have all but vanished. It said he just gave his wheel chair back and cannot move his legs through a full range of motion so he has to ride in a van so he can keep his legs straight. Sucks to be him that is for sure, but his uppers are still huge as fvck. Hope he makes a full recovery but it will be a long road for sure.

I couldn't find the recent pics of his legs but here are a few from right after the accident and after the surgury.

He was crushed under a 695 pound squat when his quads blew and his patellar tendon tore on the other leg. Svcks that they didn't bother to put the stops in the squat rack and his spotters were standing too far away to do any good.

Jean-Pierre Fux stands tall in his Palm Springs pool in early July, only two months after his training accident.

Funny thing is is that he had done that weight many times before...I assume that's why the stops werent placed and the spotters werent ready...

There's a guy in my gym who had a accident on his bike a few weeks ago and broke his FEMUR!!!! But, he's been back in the gym since at least last week working everything but his legs. He just hops from one station to the next on his crutches.

If you're talking about the guy at my gym....He said his leg was folded over his other (like how you sit in a chair with on leg resting on the other knee) except that it folded in the middle of his thigh!!!!

If you're talking about Fux, I agree!!! I've never lost a squat like that and hope it never happens!

I have bailed on 450 before but I am too scared to not squat with stops in place so it just drops about an inch of two onthe stops.

Gonna be hard when I get into my first p-lifting comp in Feb. to squat with just three or four spotters around me intead of a rack under me. Hope it doesn't mess my head up too bad

Here's me bailing on 435. I did abs pretty hard a day or two before and there was just no strength in my midsection that day. I gave it a goa week later and I hit 435 for a single and had another one in me and then gave 450 a ride and I had that one too but the spotters got spooked about something and helped me out. I felt like I had it all the way but I didn't count it.
