For protein sources, use lean trimmed meats, always grilled or broiled on a rack. Boneless, skinless chicken breast, turkey breast, trimmed top round steak, trimmed pork tenderloin, seafood, egg whites, protein powder and soy products -- a limited amount of low sugar, non fat dairy is fine – yogurt, cottage cheese.

Any added fats are good ones, olive, nut or fish, oils – nuts are fine in limited amounts and really do wonders to satisfy your hunger.

Carb sources are the hardest for most, the ones that are not good for ya taste better! For serious weight loss stick to legumes and a limited amount of oats and brown rice, some lactose (dairy) and fructose (fruit) are fine, but should be done early in the day (say before 2:00 PM). These carbs are very complex and will provide you with a steady supply of energy which will help eliminate low blood sugar conditions and cravings. AND BLACK BEANS ROCK! For bulking you can have more starches and be sure to get a meal before bed

And, the good news, eat all the GREEN veggies you want. Just stay off of lima beans and peas when your cutting. I eat at-least 2 lbs of frozen vegetables a day

Damn I love his posts on nutrition. Spreadsheets rock for serious dieting. It's the only way to dial it in.
