I looked at the site. Looks a lot like paypal in a way. Doesn't really say but im sure it's the receiver that has to pay the fee.

I was wrong

The fee to transfer your evos to another evocash account is 0.20 evos for transfers of up to 5,000.00 evos, and 0.20 evos for each additional 5,000.00 or part of. Payable by the account that SENDS the transfer.

Still pretty cheap to send money. Expensive to withdrawl though.

The good thing is the source pays the big fees to with draw, not the consumer.

it looks loke there might be a loophole where the receiver transfers the money to paypal and then withdraws. that's cheaper.
Which brings up the question. How is evo better than paypal? (are they offshore?)

I think that they are now offshore. I have been told that I must send the trasfer fees with the total so that the receiver can pay it, but I contacted evocash through email and they told me that the person sending has to pay the fees. or does this mean my source wants me to pay his fee to withdraw and my fee to transfer

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM X-CHANGERS
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:

X-Changers is suspending the processing of all
incoming checks and money orders.

We realize this will be a disappointment to many,
but the handling of checks will become very
difficult in light of our transition to Europe.

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience, but
this is necessary as X-Changers is officially
disconnecting itself from any and all banking
within the United States. This is a choice that,
although inconvenient now, will be in the best
interests of all our customers, regardless of E-
Currency preference. We have your privacy
interests in mind and the pressures exerted by
the US banking industry since the tragic events
of 911 have made our work difficult.

If you have sent checks recently, we will be
returning them. Anything received from today on
(October 3rd) is being returned.

We are deeply sorry for the temporary impact this
will have on some of you. Our intent is to make
arrangements with a third party agent that will
continue to process checks on our behalf. This
is in fact an option that may surface in the
coming weeks, but in the interim, we must suspend
the handling of checks until our move is
complete.

We ask that you spread the word on to others
within the E-Currency world as we wish to save
them the trouble of having their funds returned.

Please bear in mind that these changes will have
no impact on any of the other services we provide-
we simply have to eliminate this one option.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. We
hope to have our transition to Europe finalized
by the end of this month so things can once again
return to "business as usual".

Have an excellent day,
