Using Kratom to boost energy and focus for bodybuilding
Kratom is a name given to a tree or its leaves which is found in Southeast Asia. It has been used as a traditional medicine in Southeast Asia for many centuries. The effect of the drug is sedation and pain reduction in high doses and has a stimulating effect in low doses. It is also used as a medicine to stop diarrhoea and to treat opiate addiction. Some of its side effects include nausea, constipation and dizziness.

In Southeast Asia Kratom leaves are very often chewed fresh. Dried leaves are crushed into a powder and mixed with apple sauce or fruit juice and swallowed. In the West, dried leaves are made into a tea. It can also be smoked but this is more difficult and does not have an advantage over drinking in a tea or chewing. You can also make a paste out of the leaves by boiling for a long time and then use this paste by dissolving in hot water. It can also be mixed in ordinary black tea or other herbal tea. It is sold as crushed leaves or a powder in different strains. It is also available in the form of gel capsules with different potencies.

Kratom has its uses in body building and workouts. As a stimulant at low doses to moderate doses the mind is more alert and physical energy is increased. You feel more focused and motivated and it is great for enhancing productivity. That is why it is good for workouts and diets. At high doses as a sedative you will be less sensitive to physical pain, which is why it is good to combat soreness after a strenuous workout. The effects of this drug can last about 6 hours.

The normal dosage ranges from 2 to 10 grams. For energy and focus the normal dosage is 3 to 6 grams and to relieve anxiety and pain, a dosage of 7 to 9 grams would work. Most capsules contain between 500 mg to 666 mg of powder, but you can ask the vendor the potency so that you can work out how many capsules to take. If you have to take 10 or more capsules for the required dosage, it is better to use the powder instead.

Do not use Kratom when you have to drive as you may feel sleepy. Do not think that because you are feeling stimulated you can drive as you may feel sleepy later on. Never engage in any hazardous activity like climbing ladders or using power tools when you have used this drug. Try not to use it daily for a prolonged time as it may become habit forming. Use it responsibly. Start with a lower dose and increase gradually. Never use a high dose the first time you are using it.

Kratom is legal in the United States and most of Europe. However it is illegal in some countries in Southeast Asia and Australia. It is possible to identify its use through urine tests.

***Good to know ***
"Dry kratom leaf contains roughly 1-6% mitragynine.[13] A typical dose ranges from 15*mg to 65*mg[citation needed]. A notable distinction between mitragynine and traditional opioids is that mitragynine does not cause hypoventilation (respiratory depression) and therefore does not carry the primary safety risk associated with traditional opioids.

When I try this I'll be sure to tell my experiences.

Been researching Kratom for last hour or so and I had no idea it was so popular and was used for so many different things! I've never used it and am curious what some of our members here thought about it?

Originally I had thought it was just used to get high and such, but see a lot info on its analgesic properties

I use it once every two weeks or so just to chill. It seems to be simular to opiods since you get used to its effect and have to keep taking more and more to get the same feeling. I have never used the energy strains since ECA works great for me or a preworkout. I liked it more for the calming effect, but didn't like the forced more and more to get the same feeling.

Maybe I should try the energy strain, I would think that is the only one that would have an true BB uses.

So Kratom, does work though? You actually feel calmer and chilled out?

Definitely. I would put it in an opiod/xanex (I know two different high, but simular)category................there is no doubt that you feel it; you will be "altered". The strain I have used just puts me in a really feel good mood ( like an opiod), but you can still function very easily.

I didn't think there would be so many varieties. I just need something to help relax at night. I have no idea which one I should try.
