Anybody ever read this guy's book and use his diet plan? My wife did a slightly modified version of it maybe 7 years ago with much success. After getting burnt out on her more recent meal plan which she felt lacked in variety and the resulting couple month long free for all, she's back to this fat burning diet amd again having success.
There's a section of the book specific to bodybuilders which is helpful. I think I'm going to give it a try.
The nasic jist of it is a low carb diet. NOT zero carb; NOT ketosis. He has specific carb loading meals which are timed to take advantage of the resulting insulin spike.... You'll have to read it to get the details, I'm not gonna try to repeat it here.
But, his "bulking phase" has a body fat goal of 9 to 11% with cutting phase ending up at contest ready levels of 5% or so.
He also focuses heavily on energy levels which is important to me. I'm intrigued and am definitely going to give it a try.
