That's what the ultra sound says. Could explain several things along with my cough from reflux.

Anyways I'm looking for tips or experience with cleanses. I do not want another surgery.

Thanks in advance.

There are several levels of severity with sludge like your talking about. It could dissipate on its own and/or act up all the way to surgery due to acute pancreatitis.

Did they give you any specifics??

No. The report said mild so I'm guessing it's not that bad. I've got a follow up with the dr Monday.

Side note I had a bad reaction to the barium yesterday that landed me in the ER with what I can only describe as intense as abdominal pain. I'm fine today but holy shit did that hurt.

Damn Bro....Sorry to hear that. Yeah, just pm me diagnosis details if you don't want that private shit being read by all. I'm not saying I know it all, but my medical background gives me a few avenues to pull from for info buddy.

Hope ya get to feeling better soon

I had my gallbladder removed after having galstones getting stuck in the neck of my gallbladder. It was some serious pain. That was they last time i got high mmmm morphine

Mild sludge is present within the gallbladder. No well formed songs are present. The patient was not tender over the gallbladder during scanning. There is no evidence of wall thickening or pericholeystic fluid. The common blue duct is normal.

This is the lab report. Everything else is fine. I'm seeing my Dr on Monday. I've never had any pain before the barium got me all backed up. That hurt quite a bit. I've been able to duce so I'm feeling much better. Almost no pain right now. Just on really deep breaths. Probably just a little sore.

Cool bro. Keep us updated. That barium probably hurt like hell cause it wasn't able to move thru and process correctly. Keep ya head up!! :)

I had my gallbladder out just last June. I didn't experience any sharp pain, and I didn't even have any sludge or stones. I did experience acid reflux, heartburn, and sometimes hiccups that would last an entire day. I also had high lipase which is a pancreatic enzyme, meaning I was getting pancreatitis from whatever was going on. When I did the barium test, they told me it was inconclusive. The doctor interpreted that to mean that it was working sporadically and recommended it be taken out. My reflux is now gone and subsequent tests for the lipase enzyme has shown that it's coming down although it's still a little high. I can't tell you how much better I feel.

If you don't want surgery and want to try a flush, I found the following: A Gallbladder and Liver Flush is an excellent Liver Cleanse in and of itself. It can flush gallstones, sludge and/or thickened bile.

This wouldn't have worked for me since my gallbladder wasn't contracting properly, but it may work for you. If this doesn't work, I would highly recommend a laproscopic removal. I was only out two weeks, and then I was working out lightly on the third week, regularly the fourth week, so it isn't as bad as other surgeries.

Gallbladder surgery is no joke brother. If ya need it, ya need it though. Keep on the positive though ;)

About 6 weeks ago I had a serious gall bladder attack. It hit me at about 10pm at night and lasted until about 4am. I kept telling myself 10 more minutes and I'm going to the ER, 10 more minutes. On a scale of 1-10 it was a sold 7.5. I never ended up going to the ER cause the pain abruptly went away as quick as it came on shortly after 4am. I guess the stone passed.

At first I thought it may be a heart attack but the pain was much lower in my stomach/sternum area. It just felt as if someone was pushing out from within my upper two abdominal area. I had no nausea, no sweats, just the dull ache. Hind sight being 20-20 I now realize what I had been eating was the cause. I also had bad diarrhea in the weeks before. I attributed it to stress.( job issues). The diarrhea was from excess bile being produced from the gall bladder. I really was eating like shit. I had ice cream twice the week leading up to the attack. I also recently started eating cottage cheese every day to supplement the diet as a source of protein. Cheese is one of the things that trigger gall stones. So I have cut out all cheese from the diet.

I upped my fiber, like I eat at least one salad a day. I've eaten really clean since and no more spicy foods. Since that attack I have been good to go.

I should also add to the thread that actual gall stones are created in the liver not in the gall bladder. So when you do a gall bladder flush you are actually flushing the liver and the gall bladder together. There are videos of people doing the flush and having HUNDREDS of gall stones flush out. Its amazing. If I have another attack I will do the liver gall bladder flush.

Well, in the long run it's probably going to come out, you don't need your gallbladder, it's just a storage sac for bile, and now days laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a pretty simple same day surgery, if they don't put in any drains you'll go home same day. Discuss it with your MD, see what they say, but now it's basically full of junk, how much will determine the course of action, hope it goes well bro, but if you need surgery, it's one you can't put off.

I have enough Kidney Stones bro. Don't want Gall Stones as well. Shit sounds ruff....

I did a cleanse like Big Z listed above years ago and had a bunch of little green stones come out, I was literally peeing out of my butt hole though, and Epsom salt is absolutely horrid tasting.

Going to see MD Monday. Since the report didn't say anything about stones and just mild sludge I'll be Ok.

I do rest like garbage. Seriously complete garbage. Buffets and fast food almost every meal. I've been meaning to clean up my diet and other than my Dr suspicion I didn't have any symptoms. Well except for tendonitis that never hours away but who would have known.

Maybe I'll be able eat like I need to from now on and get another ultra sound in a couple of weeks and see how it goes.

Thanks for all the insight. I didn't know this was so common.

I can appreciate someone who is fucking honest. If ya eat like shit, Hell dont lie about it. Its like some of the bigger guys in the bodybuilding world who say, "I don't use steroids. I may have done one or 2 cycles when I was first starting out to get me thru a plataeu, but havent needed to since" YEAH!!! Bullshit!!!
Anyway, just thought I'd give a thumbs up for honesty even if the fast food is hurtin ya bro. I eat like shit alot too.
My buddies who try and eat clean but cant stay lean even when they do, HATE my ass. Cause I can eat like shit most of the time and still look fairly lean regardless.....;)

That's just it. I look pretty lean. I'm no slob so I figured all was well. Boy was I wrong.

BTW. My left forearm is numb like my leg from the iv the er nurse gave me last night. Kinda hurts if I reach out with as little twist. But unlike my leg I knew when she hit that nerve. Holy hell that hurt. Not as bad as my guts but pretty bad.

So now I've got a numb right quad and left forearm. fml right

Yeah. Just keep an eye on it bro. Our bodes really don't like having sharp shit stuck in there....lol

If you have to have the surgery, I agree it is definitely one you have to do, can't skip it. For me, I had no stones in the liver or gallbladder, and I eat pretty clean. My gallbladder had decided to stop working I guess. Even if you don't really need a gallbladder, it sure does create problems when it doesn't work properly because of stones or something else.
