I started a business back in 1983 at age 23, have survived (not thrived) throughout many yrs despite several recessions, dealing with many bigger businesses who wanted to crush me, and so many slow times of the yr that would send many into a depression. I have survived I'm guessing at least a dozen skin cancer surgeries of all 3 types including deadly malignant melonoma. Also the rock band Survivor did a few inspiratiopnal Rocky songs back in the early 80's that I would train to.

So cheesy as it sounds, nit to mention cliche, the name has stuck. But in these tough economic times I am in a dog fight of my career that I hope I will survive
