I'm in Illinois, the most embarassed state in the US of A. Many yrs ago lived in SoCal, in the valley then in south bay area. You near there?

I live here In the inland empire, the wife and I have thought to move state many times. Always seem to stay here tho. How is Illinois

So you in San Berndino valley right? Illinois is a total mess, not that Cali isnt either, but high taxes, Chicago is mess with violence, hi cost of living, etc. Thank God I'm well away from Chicago. So if yr looking for greener pastures, I wouldn't look here in the rust belt

Welcome to MC. Lots of beautiful places, depends what you like! Take a few vacations and meet some locals! I'm in NJ. High cost of living, corrupt politicians... but pretty high wages and where I am is pretty rural. Yet under an hour to Philly and not too far from the Big Apple, if that's your thing. Weather is generally pretty moderate, too.
