Pickle juice for cramping?

So after killing legs last night, the clen/tren cramps got me. Looked like aliens trying to break out of my quads. Some of the most painful cramps I've ever experienced. In discussing this with a friend this morning, she informed me that pickle juice would've taken that right away. I started doing some searching around, and apparently this is a real deal. I just ordered some dill pickle juice from amazon, and I'm going to try it next legs day, because I know it's going to happen again.

Has anyone else ever heard of this or tried drinking pickle juice when you are cramping up? I figured it's worth a shot.
 
Pickle juice is high in sodium and potassium so yes it will work. We drank it during long football practices back in the late 80s and early 90s. I can't say I use it much anymore but instead use I use Taurine and it works like a dream.

Taurine, potasium, magnesium are all part of my daily supps. But it seems that I push so hard on legs day that it doesn't matter. When they started cramping, I popped 3000mg of taurine, 300mg of potasium, and 500mg of magnesium, and drank a half gallon of water. Then I continued to walk around because if I held still or tried to sit, they would go nuts again. After 30 mins I was able to get in the shower and I ran hot water on them for a while. That seemed to help a good bit, too. But then since I drank over a gallon of water from 1900 on, I was up every 2 hours having to pee. So fricken annoying. I'm going to pick up some pickle juice and see if that helps next time this happens. If nothing else, at least I'll have some pickle juice to drink with my Jack.
 
You need sodium. Drinking all that water will remove sodium. That's why you're cramping. Have to have both sodium and potassium in balance.
 
You need to take in some sodium the day before leg day. Also the day before leg day you need to load more water. I know you know the saying, If you get thirsty you have waited to long to start drinking. You know how your legs are going to react so plan a day ahead and you will be able to keep em under control.

It works. I used to take it when I pourer concrete in the summers. I would think v8 and potassium would work just as good. I like dried apricots for a great potassium source.

give this man a prize. not enough talk about the day before training certain body parts and the prep that should accompany it. It seems we have only progressed as far as knowing what days to take off and how long before you can train body parts again, but not a whole lot of talk about the things you should do the day before a huge leg day for example.

I used this last night. My legs started cramping bad. So I downed a cup and a half of pickle juice, and in a minute the cramps were gone!

I hate the smell of pickles!! If it's on my burger can't eat from smell! Uhhh!!

Hit legs other night. Something funny in when she is riding and I hold around cheeks and pop from bottom I get severe cramps in back of legs! Ouch!

Hit legs hard Wednesday and that night just in middle of night cramps hit in hams on both sides bad.
Flipped like fish had to make wife push back both big toes with legs fully extended flat!!! That always solves it for the time being!

I use salt Seasoned salt Toni Sashery's
Wife doesn't play with flavor
Gatorade, multi vitamin, plenty potassium is my concern.
I swell up without potassium and sweat ridiculously. I always have an extra shirt cause it gets drenched!

Here's what you do. Load 6cc of pickle juice into a syringe but don't put a pin on it. Now stick the syringe in your ass and inject it deep within the sphincter. Try to hold in the juice and not spray it for maximum absorption. It might be a quick fix if my theory is correct.

It was 1993 the first time a girl asked me to plug her and I was like wtf!!! Then I was like ohhh ok that's the shit!!!
 
Whenever I run clen or albuterol I always up my taurine. Pickle juice does work but I tend to hold too much water. Give sea salt a shot. For some reason I do not hold water with sea salt. Good luck..
