What would you consider a good size arm?

I am interested in what people think about this subject because a lot of people I know have mixed reviews on this topic.
In my college gym people look at me like I have big arms with no pump/flex at 14 inches and flexed at 16.5 inches which I feel are really small. I am 5'10 200lbs lean which may be a illusion of why they feel this way. Shoot my calves are 16.5 inches unflexed lol.
P.S. I had to take time off training due to work and school being super
limited on free time that hurt me. So key do not take time off I lost a lot
of size!

I think you're going to have a tough time finding a definitive or "absolute" answer to this, because what you are asking is a subjective Q.

It depends on bf%
And other factors.
I am 5'8.5" I am 189 lbs right now
Bf is prolly 6-7% my arms flexed no pump are 17" on left with higher peak
And on right 16.3/4" with smaller peak but right arm is bigger!

It all has to do with the way that you are built. I am 6'3" and at 248 lbs. right now. I walk around with 17 to 18 in arms all the time. If I start hitting them hard they blow up. All a matter of perspective.

When I was working out hard before my tricep tendon tear I was 200-210 and my arms pumped were 19" dead even on both sides. 5'9".
Now they are more around 16.5-17 and I'd say they are still bigger than most people I see.

Alot of normal size guys have like 13-14" arms.
Mine are bigger than most too.
I hear comments about it all the time.

But bodybuilding is an illusion!!!
Leanness low bf with as much muscle as possible.
This is what exaggerates muscles even more.
Small waist large shoulders and every muscle sticking out.
Hard to see in photos but right now I am pretty low in bf. In person people think I am well over 200 lbs but I am only around 187 lbs right now!!!

One thing that has to be taken into account is arm length. My arms are about 38" long. My biceps also attach right into the elbow joint.

ding, ding, ding, we have a winner. Good arm size is the one that fits your body!!

lol yellow snow, mine aren't big enough yet. 17.25 @ 5'6.75" and 210#. i use to be 5'7.5" but lost height due to degenerative disc. i have pumped out to 18.imho, this is a matter of personal preference. i look in the mirror, and it's still not big enough. i do know manufacturersdon't make clothes/coats that fit my arms. i had to buy a 3x just so my arms would fit in the coat last year. what's worse is there were other 3x's that still didn't fit. and i'm still not big enough, lol

Mine are 18" not flexed and I don't consider myself to have big arms at all. Now when I'm de watered and peeled on stage, I tuck my thumb into my hand and they look 24" lol. The fact my shoulders are so large takes away from my bis a bit but it's a good tradeoff because I've got a nice athletic V look to me.

I would say the leaner the arm is to it can look great even if you can tell its not overall big.
