Some guy died up here in Idaho. He was rafting and a big wave knocked him off. He made it back to the raft and couldn't pull himself up. He panicked and thought his life vest was to heavy and holding him back. Still holding on to the outside he undid the straps and flung it back into the raft. So now he tried again without no vest and he was just to weak to do the pullup into the raft. Even with his girl helping he lost grip at off he went. 48 year old lost his life. They should have a basic 1 pullup test for the rafting trips. The waters up here are very rough with all the melt in the mountains.

Pacific Northwest is a pretty fat area of the country. Not as bad as the south, but it's rough nonetheless.

I know several people that talk about wanting to join a gym, but they never do. I tell em the sooner, the better! People want to wait until they have serious health issues, before they do something about it

I see it all the time in my gym, with the men, most cant begin to bench even half thier weight for a rep.....yet they boast about the ability to down a 6 pak in 15 minutes. What a sad & weak world we live in
